Lebanon's New Tea Room

During the pandemic, many restaurants had to do takeout for their food. A number could not survive yet a number of new places have sprouted up. Most are quite good. My good friend, Laurie Hinson, and I ventured out to have lunch at a new place, Bloom Boutique and Tea Room. Many bulk teas to pick from to have a "proper" tea and a sandwich and scrumptious butternut squash soup. I plan to go back and do this again. Ah, some parts of life returning to normal.

Music and Friends

Our local winery, Marks Ridge, has musical events every Friday evening during July and August. Sit on the lawn chairs, eat snacks, and listen to good music. This year's sessions started this last Friday night, the 3rd, with the group, Dinna Fash, which means "Don't Fret or Worry". We, met our friends the Gentinos, Gene and Liz, at the event and had a wonderful evening. It was a perfect evening, not too hot or too cold. We need more of this to heal our souls.

Spending Time with Friends

While in Las Vegas, we got to spend time with our friend, Dr. Marybeth Rymer. She was great about taking the photos for the Symposium and we had time to eat together and also take a drive up into the Red Rock Country. We also took her a jar of newly preserved home grown Strawberry jam. Yum.
